Why are you at ACTIA IME/ What is your job?
My role within the company is team leader for product development. This includes prioritizing and coordinating the developers' tasks as well as supporting employees.
What do you like about working here?
We have the capabilities of a large corporation with the flexibility of a small company and thus combine the advantages of both worlds. In addition, everyone here works together.

I am responsible for quality and environmental management and my core tasks are maintaining the company's certification, providing internal information and being the contact person for colleagues for process questions.
What do you like about working here?
Among other things, I like the flexible working hours and the (short-term) option to work from home. I also like the short, quick coordination channels thanks to our flat hierarchies and the help across all departments. ACTIA IME also offers the opportunity to contribute your own ideas to the company.

Why are you at ACTIA IME/ What is your job?
I am currently leading a project that has been running successfully for several years, with several 10,000 diagnostic devices in use worldwide, in vehicle production and in workshops. Due to daily use in different environments, with constantly new vehicle types, there is a constant need for adaptation to the customer's requirements. This need must be analyzed in collaboration with the customer, changes made to the software, tested and new software versions regularly delivered. Above all, it is important to ensure that the software is highly reliable: failures due to faulty software in this environment can lead to millions in damages within hours.
What do you like about working here?
Despite the high level of responsibility that each individual has, you don't feel under pressure. This is mainly due to good error management: The question is not "Who is to blame for this?", but rather "How can we solve this, who can help and how can we avoid this in the future?" Colleagues work well together, so if you're not familiar with topics you can always ask a colleague with more experience in this area, even from other departments.
